Describe the mythological centaur. what did it look like? what did it represent? centaurs are creatures from greek mythology that was half man half horse. the top half was man, and the bottom half was horse. they represented barbarism and unbridled chaos.

    There was one centaur in Greek mythology, however, that stood out as different from that traditional representation. The centaur Chiron was noted for his wisdom and served as an instructor to famous Greek characters like Achilles, Jason and Heracles.
