Ah, great questions.
Mongols were apart of the infamous Mongolian Empire.
It was a nation that lasted from 1206 to 1368 and that has conquered most of Eurasia (Europe and Asia). It formed many kingdoms as it conquered more and more, but then, it collapsed due to poor leadership of Kublai Khan, black death, and a successful overthrow of it by Ming Empire.
