Competition is the engine that drives the capitalist system. Businesses try to improve their products to make them "better" than the competition. why did this prove to be a problem in the newspaper business of the late 1800s?

    Competition is the engine of capitalism. The problem is the lack of control of this competition that can lead to the production of not only dangerous products but in the case of newspapers, for example, liar products. The sensationalism printed on the pages of various media is the result of this type of competition that aims only at the sale of material. In the USA this type of press is known as "yellow journalism" in Brazil, "brown press".
