During prohibition, how did the white house "get rid of alcohol"

    They established tbe temperance movement which was led by Religious, morally-minded citizens. This was to lessen alcohol consumption/drunkenness

    it was supoosed to end drunkenness, reduce crime, improve family life. but the opposite happened its effect was increased drunkenness, crime, worsened family life
