One letter should be from the perspective of a male plantation owner in the Southern colonies who supports the American Revolution.

The second letter should be from the perspective of a free African American woman living in the North who is skeptical about the American Revolution.

    The first Letter: If we take American Revolution, it will be the best way! First we can have our own country, to make our own law, and we don’t have to pay the tax for the British’s, even they didn’t do anything.

    The second Letter: I believe that the revolution war was a bad idea ... If it never happened then my relatives my family wouldn’t have gotten enslaved so many years ago. If America stayed under control of the British then just maybe all African Americans would be living free in this place called America.
