Rome was considered to be impeccable during its time. The city had amazing architectural structures such as the Coliseum, large statues of their gods, a paved road system, and a water system composed of aqueducts. The Romans also had bath houses that they could visit and they considered a luxury. Other cities during the time could not hold a candle to the grandeur and innovations that Rome possessed.
