How has the supreme court changed since it first met in 1790

It changed in numerous ways, for starters, its size increased as now it has 9 people and it used to have fewer. Its power also increased because it became an important part of the government because of the checks and balances system. It also changed because now all people regardless of race and gender can become justices.
