According to byrd what were some of the positive and negative aspects of southern colonial life

    He talked about how prayer and family made up the good part of this type of life. He did mention slavery, but he didn't see it in a negative light. He spoke of how disease was a negative thing that claimed the lives of children. He also talked about how war threatened their lives.
