How do the right of assembly and petition apply to private property

    I would say that people cannot trespass, even to express political views.

    If a property is private, it means that you cannot just enter somebody else's property and assemble there with a group of people. It is allowed in public property, but not in private property - if people do that, they will likely be jailed because it is illegal.
