How the colonies along the southernmost atlantic coast and british islands in the west indies took advantage of long growing seasons by using slave labor to develop economies based on staple crops?

    They had huge farms that were full of various crops like cotton or tobacco or things that could grow well in such climate. They used slaves to have free labor on those farms and could accumulate immeasurable amounts of wealth and grow the economy of the southern colonies.
