Jews did not like roman rule and they rebelled a lot, causing Jewish - Roman wars. Romans attacked the Jewish religion (a woman couldn't get married until she had sexual intercourse with the roman governer. Bet they don't tell you that in your history book) so yeah Jews rebelled and caused wars against the romans. 3 wars to be exact.
