Why do you think French remains the predominant language in the Canadian province of Quebec?

    I would say that French has remained the predominant language in the province of Quebec in Canada because historically the inhabitants of Quebec came from France and so it was their first language and they used it to carry out all their daily activities and communicate with each other and preserve their culture.
