Who had a greater impact on the church? Martin Luther or Galileo?

Martin Luther didn't impact the church very much aside from allowing race to be eliminated in deciding which churches could be attended by who. Galileo caused controversy among the churches by claiming a scientific theory of where the Earth was placed within the Solar System. The controversy was disagreed upon because of the Christian belief the God placed it in the way that is posed in the bible.
