Can the United States afford to only consider what is good for the United States? Or do we also need to consider what is good for the world too? Why?

    We know that Fannie Mae has requested yet another bailout, this shows that there is still volatility in the housing market and that just since January 1st 2010 there have been more than 865,000 foreclosures and almost 1.5 million bankruptcies filed.
