Explain the changes that were made to this public holiday (heritage day)

Several changes have occurred to the Heritage Day, First, the change of name from Shaka Day to Heritage Day and now National Braai Day.

Heritage Day is an important public holiday in South African culture. Hence it encourages different beliefs and tradition while appreciating the various languages of South African People.
