The fifth darkest shade equals 5,000 or more confirmed cases, and the sixth darkest shade equals 50,000 or more confirmed cases. Most of the African countries had 50 or less confirmed cases, with the exception being the North African and southeastern coastal areas. All of North America except Greenland, most of South America, Europe, Asia, and the Pacific countries have between 500 and 50,000 confirmed cases.
