    Abolition--Garrison believed all slaves should be immediately freed and allowed to live as equal citizens in the US.

    William Lloyd Garrison created the paper, The Liberator, where he and others wrote articles encouraging complete abolition of slavery. He worked closely with Frederick Douglass in his mission of abolition.
