For what two reasons have people been migrating to the south in recent years

The first reason that people have been moving to the south is sheer number of available jobs. In other parts of the nation there are severe job 'droughts' in which unemployment is at an all time high. The second reason that people are moving is the environment. People are looking for a different atmosphere, and cost of living is lower in these places.
