    Jamestown flourished from the lack of food

    james smith made a rule (whoever did not work did not eat) but sadly james smith had to return t england where he badly got injured. The colonist only had 10 weeks of food supply though. They thought the indians were going to continue to trade with them but they didn't. the colonist only ate cats, dogs, and ice during the time of 1609-1610 ony 60 people returned
