The correct answer is A. Trade connections gave Islam a presence in cities and ports where merchants went. There was a lot of trade done with the northern African countries and these trades were conducted by rich Arabs. As they traded, there was a lot of people who adopted Islam and were converted, so it wasn't violet, it was about money and trade.
