The triangular trade is trade between africa, the "new world" aka the americas, and europe. Goods are exchanged to and from these three places through the triangle trade, because each offer different products and resources. From europe came manufactored goods and man made materials. From africa came mostly slaves and ivory. And from the americas came crops and natural resources such as grain, corn, potatoes, sugar ... ect.
