Corporate personality is the fact stated by the law that a company is recognized as a legal entity distinct from its members. A company with such personality is an independent legal existence separate from its shareholders, directors, officers and creators. This is famously known as the veil of incorporation. The overarching idea in fiction theory is that the relationships between the imaginary worlds of fiction and the actual world in which we live are complicated, and that one ought not dismiss fiction as simply stories that are not "true." Realism is one of the dominant schools of thought in international relations theory, theoretically formalizing the Realpolitik statesmanship of early modern Europe. Purpose theory is "the view that one's life is meaningful just insofar as one fulfills a purpose that God has assigned to one" (Metz, 2013a, p. 80). Metz also proposes a novel argument to undermine purpose theory by showing that it is inconsistent with the best argument for a God-centered theory of meaning. This theory is also known as the "bracket" theory ... Basically, this theory is similar to the fiction theory in that it recognizes that only human beings have interests and rights of a legal person. It is a principle in the creation of corporations, under which a corporation is an artificial creature without any existence until it has received the imprimatur of the State acting according to law, through SEC. The life of the Corporation is a concession made by the State.
