    Voluntary placement - a voluntary placement for a child with documented, developmental disability or mental illness in order to provide treatment for the child related to the disability that they can't receive at home

    Involuntary placement - a legal process in which an individual who is deemed by a qualified agent to have symptoms of a severe mental disorder is ordered by a court into treatment in a psychiatric hospital or in the community

    Involuntary muscle is under unconscious control while voluntary muscle is under conscious control ... Involuntary muscle includes smooth muscle that lines organs, and cardiac muscle of the heart. While some involuntary muscles (e. g. cardiac muscles) contract in a constant rhythmic cycle, voluntary muscles do not.
