In biomechanics, what creates linear and rotary motion?

    Linear and Angular Concepts Applied to Biomechanics. A body at rest remains at rest and a body in motion remains in motion in a straight line unless acted upon by an outside force. In other words, the application of force to an object for a period of time causes the object to change its linear momentum.
