Which best explains whether a triangle with side lengths 5cm, 13cm, and 12cm is a right triangle?

    It have to be the largest side square is equal to the sum of two legs which are square.

    13*13 = 5*5 + 12*12

    169 = 25+144

    169=169

    They are equal so it is right angle.
