16 because if you count how many cups of raisins and count how many cups of trail mix you get 6 in between so you take the ten cups of raisins and add 6 to it so you get 16

2/8 = x/12

cross multiply to get

2*12=24 8*x=8x

24=8x

8x/8 = 24/8
