Tina used 10 1/2 yards of yarn to make three yarn dolls. She used 4 1/2 yards of yarn for the first doll and 2 1/9 yards for the second doll. How much yarn did Tina use for the third doll?

    3 8/9 yards because 4 1/2 yards plus 2 1/9 is 6 11/18. 10 9/18 subtract 6 11/18 is 3 16/18=3 8/9.
