A soda shop owner told his employer to add 2 full cups and 1/5 of a cup of syrup to each gallon of soda. if there were 4 gallons of soda, how much syrup would be needed

    One gallon of soda use 2 1/5cups of syrup 2 1/5 = 11/5 x 4 = 11/5=44/5 = 4 4/5 cups of syrup
