4e^ (2x) - 3 = 12

    4e^ (2x) - 3 = 12

    4e^ (2x) = 15

    e^ (2x) = 15/4

    taking logs

    2x = ln (15/4)

    x = ln (15/4) / 2

    x = 0.66 to nearest hundredth
