There * must * be an easier way of simplifying this expression. What could I have done differently?

x^3 * x^4=x*x*x*x*x*x*x=x^7

    You can add the exponents of x^3*x^4 instead of writing it all out. Do you would just have to add 3+4 since the variable (x) is the same. And you would get x^7
