To find the difference in distance walked between Kay and Joshua, you will subtract the circumference of half the circle and the diameter.

Joshua walked 3 x 2 = 6 feet

Kay walked approximately (3.14 x 6) / 2 or 9.42 feet

9.42-6 = 3.42 feet

Kay walked 3.42 feet further than Joshua.
