First convert to common denomenator (bottom number)

    -2 and 1/3=-6/3-1/3=-7/3

    -4/5

    denomenators are 5 and 3

fidn LCM of 3 and 5 which is 15

    so - 7/3 times 5/5=-35/15

    -4/5 times 3/3=-12/15

so with negative numbers, the smaller the number, the large it is, or basically, if you have a number line, with postive number on the right and the negative on the left, then the bigger the number, the farther it is to the right

    so there are many numbers between - 35/15 and - 12/15 some examples are - 34/15, - 30/15, - 16/15 and so on another example is - 2 which is equal to - 30/15

    -2 1/3 is the same as - 7/3

Now you must make - 7/3 and - 4/5 have the same bottom number which is 15

-7/3 (multiply both top and bottom by 5)

-4/5 (multiply both top and bottom by 3)

    -35/15 and - 12/15

So you can say any number between these two. e. g. - 14/15
