Two angles are supplementary. One angle is 5 * less than four times the other find the measures of the angles

    Supplementary angles add up to 180.

    if one angle is X then the other angle (Y) is 4X+5.

    we know that both angles should equal 180 (X + Y = 180)

    so: X + 4X + 5 = 180

    5X = 175

    X = 35

    Y = 145
