so they are x, x+2, x+4

the sum is 3

x+x+2+x+4=3

3x+6=3

minus 6 both sides

3x=-3

divide 3

x=-1

x+2=1

x+4=3

the numbers are - 1,1,3

x+2 = 2nd odd integer

x+4 = 3rd odd integer

x + x+2 + x + 4 = 3

3x+6 = 3

3x = - 3
