The area of the square is 26*26=676. The radius of the circle is 13, and the formula for a circle is pi (r^2). Since it is a semicircle the area would be. 5 (pi) (13^2) You need the total area, which is 676 +.5 (169) (pi).

The area of the square is 676

The area of a circle is pi*r^2

So pi*13^2. Divide that by 2 since it's a semicircle.

    So the area is 676 + ((pi*169) / 2)
