    Hello:

    x^2 - 3x + n is a perfect square trinomial : x²-3x+n = (x-a) ²

    x²-3x+n = x²-2ax+a²

    -2a = - 3

    a² = n

    a = 3/2

    n = (3/2) ²=9/4

    X²-3x+n

    Because 3 is a prime number, n must be a fraction.

    When completing the square, n = 9/4

    x²-3x+n

    = (x²-3x + 9/4)

    = (x-3/2) ²
