    Slope-intercept form is y = mx + b

    The equation that the question has given is in standard form (ax + by = c).

    We just need to move around certain terms to get standard form into slope-intercept form.

    2x + y = 6

    2x - 2x + y = 6

    y = 6 - 2x

    **you can just switch where - 2x and 6 are but they would mean the same thing**

    y = - 2x + 6
