What is a mean, median and interquartile range?

    Mean : The average value of the entire set of numbers.

    Mode: The number which appears most often in a set of numbers. Median : The middle value between the largest and smallest in a set of numbers. Range: The difference between the largest and smallest in a set of numbers.

    Interquartile range: a measure of statistical dispersion, being equal to the difference between 75th and 25th percentiles, or between upper and lower quartiles, IQR = Q 3 - Q 1.
