To find 61 x 1000, annex zeros to form the product?

    In order to get the product of 61*1000, we will first multiply 61 by 1 and then add 3 zeroes to the product we get as follows:

    61*1 = 61

    Now we will add three zeroes to the product, so we will 61,000
