56 + 32 as the product of the GCF and a sum.

Ok so we find the GCF of both numbers, we know that they are both multiples of 8, so 56/8=7 and 32/8=4. So with distributive property, we write 8 (7+4). Although, already into the answer, i don't understand by "and a sum" so i'm stumped there
