6 (2x + 8) = 60
= Open the brakcets, by timing 6 with values inside brakcet
6 x 2x = 12x
6 x 8 = 48
12x + 48 = 60
12x = 60 - 48
12x = 12
x = 12 / 12
x = 1
If you dont know, when values are taken to opposite side of equation, signs change (minus becomes plus)
