Bobby drove for 56 miles to visit a friend. He drove 42 miles before stopping for gas. What percent of the drive did Bobby have left after stopping for gas. Explain how u got your answer.

    56 - 42 = 14 miles left after stopping for gas.

    then put 14 over 56 as a fraction because it's the amount he has left over the total drive.

    14 : 56 =.25

    .25 = 25%
