Jon hikes 13.5 mi at a constant rate of 3 mi/h. How many hours does he hike?

    The other user is wrong in their calculation. To find how many hours John hikes, you have to do 13.5 / 3, which will give you 4.5 hours. You can tell a number like 40.5 hours is wrong just by looking at it since if you're already walking 3 miles per hour then 40 hours of that will be 120 miles, not 13.5

    40.5 hours hiked, I think. Probaly just 13.5 x 3 right?
