You need to fill up a 5 gallon drum of liquid product. The drum currently has 1.5 gallons of liquid inside. How much more liquid can you put inside the drum?

    You need 3.5 so the answer is 3.5

    Subtract the amount the drum holds by what's already in the drum.

    5-1.5 = 3.5 gallons
