On a school bus there are 9 boys. There are twice as many girls as boys on the bus. How many girls and boys combined are on the bus?

    9*2=18

    18+9=27

    There are 9 boys and twice as many girls so that means there is 18 girls and you have to find the total of boys and girls so you add 18 plus 9 to get a total of 27 students on the bus
