Does the commutative property of addition apply when you add two negative integers? Explain.

    Yes, it does.

    Ex:

    2 + 3 = 3 + 2 = > 5 = 5

    For negative integers:

    (-2) + (-3) = (-3) + (-2) = > - 5 = - 5
