Solve for A. BA + C = D

    You have to subtract C first to the D and then you get BA = D - C and then you divide A by B on both sides and you get A = (D - C) / B

    -C. - C

    BA=D-C

    BA/B = (D-C) / B

    A = (D-C) / B
