A bag contains 5 red marbles, 3 green ones, and 2 blue marbles. Ken draws 2 marbles one after the other without replacement.

Event A = drawing a red marble on the first draw

Event B = drawing a red marble on the second draw

What is the probability of both a and B occurring?

    P (A) = 5/10

    P (B|A) = 4/9

    P = 5/10 * 4/9 = 20/90 = 2/9
