The minimum is the number with the lowest value and the maximum is the number with the largest value. To find the first quartile, median, and third quartile, you need to put the data set in order from smallest to largest. The median number is the number in the middle of the set. If you have an even number then you add the two middle ones together and divide by two. To get the first quartile, you take the lower half of the data set and take the median of that. Then you do the same thing for the third quartile except it's in the upper half. Make sure to exclude the median when you are splitting the data set in half.
