The volume of a sphere is 4/3 pi, times its radius cubed.

To cube the radius you multiply the radius times itself 3 times.

    3 x 3 x 3 = 27

    4/3 pi x 27 = 113.1.

113.1 rounded to the nearest tenth is the same.
